To highlight Earth Day, Doconomy became the world’s first company to publicly share the individual carbon footprints of their employees. This initiative is meant to accelerate the company’s ability to inspire and learn from each other, using the Lifestyle Calculator which was developed together with UN Climate Change. Mathias Wikström the CEO was among the people with the highest individual footprint but welcomed the idea as a way to spur the discussion on how we all impact the planet.

 

As individuals, we need to better understand how our lifestyle choices impact the planet and start to make more informed decisions, and openly sharing the result help drive an era of transparency around environmental impact.
